Indian Commercial Co. Ltd ( ICC ) was incorporated in August 1943 by Kilachand Devchand & Co. The activities of Kilachand Devchand & Co. included trading in Cotton, Oilseeds & Jute.    

Over the years, Kilachand Devchand & Co. promoted various companies like Synthetics & Chemicals, Polychem, Kesar Enterprises Ltd ( Sugar, Distillery & Bulk Storage Division ) and Indian Commercial Co. Ltd.   

As a start, ICC was responsible for merchandising polystyrene made in India by Polychem, a joint venture between Kilachands & Dow Chemicals.  

In order to service the customers spread all over the country, sales offices were established in several locations like Calcutta, Delhi, Madras, Baroda and Secunderabad. These offices are being traditionally manned by a very competent staff who services both the Chemical & Plastic process industry in their respective territories.   

Presently ICC is also engaged in Stock & Sale Activities of certain speciality chemicals imported from its overseas principals for which adequate Infra -  structure including warehousing facility is available in - house. ICC is also exporting Pharma & Dye Intermediates to countries in Asia & Europe.   

The objective of ICC is to service the Indian Chemical & Plastic Industry with various inputs, both Local & Imported with the best products available worldwide.
